Meta's instructions for appealing a Business Manager restriction: log into the account they just locked you out of.

The assumption most agencies operate on is that if Meta flags the account incorrectly, there's a process to fix it. Submit a ticket. Verify identity. Get a human to look at it.

We've watched agencies go through the full verification flow, trying to recover access. Government ID, driver's license, face scan. Accounts are still banned within hours.

Meta's enforcement is automated. For most Business Manager restrictions, there's no path to a human reviewer. The appeal flow itself requires logging into the account that's locked. That is the actual instruction.

By the time most agencies work this out, a client's campaigns are dark, reporting has stopped, and the recovery timeline is entirely outside their control. The client is asking questions you can't answer. There's no escalation path, no case number, no one on the other end.

We've started thinking about BM access structure as a risk management issue for agencies, not an admin task. Because once it goes wrong, there's no good fix.

Has anyone actually gotten through a Meta BM appeal successfully? What did that process actually look like?
