How do you know what to buy between Destiny 2 Collection, Marathon, and Returnal?

This is a very difficult time for me right now. Really having a hard time lately and this is compounding things greatly.

I played D2 a long time ago only 10 hours maybe and had fun but never bought any content. I'm enjoying the Marathon free week. Returnal is supposed to be a goated and very unique bullet hell.
