Help kicking an extreme soda addiction

Basically the title. I’ve been drinking solely Dr Pepper in the place of any other hydration method for years. I do not drink water. I have a pretty stressful life, even though I’m happy. Full time work, mom to a toddler, and enrolled in college. I stress, and I drink Dr Pepper. It’s a serious issue. I’ve always jokingly said, “Well, at least it’s not crack!”, but I have to imagine it’s affecting me, still. Not drinking water and drinking 5+ cans a day is not healthy. I have heart, seizure, and mental health conditions, and I’m curious how much of it is a direct result of how much Dr Pepper and how little water I consume. I don’t like sparkling water, or any other alternative sodas- I’m autistic, so I’m very picky. I do like juice/strawberry lemonade and gatorade, which has been helpful. I want to kick this habit. I just drank the first glass of water I’ve had in years today. Please be kind! I know this is very bad. I’ve had a lot of hard struggles in life, but I’m finally deciding to start taking care of myself. It’s a hard one, that’s for sure. I’d just like some ideas and suggestions for strategies to quit.
