marmalade district pros & cons?

I tried posting the below message on Nextdoor but I only received messages and comments from moving companies and realtors wanting business. Which is nice but not my need. So I’m trying here ❤️

Hi neighbors! I’m newish to salt lake (about a year in downtown). I’m looking to possibly purchase a townhome in the marmalade district (more 300s area with a view of the capitol building). There’s a couple townhomes I’ve visited and loved. Can you please share the positive & negatives of the area? I do have one child and they are in a private school so not needing the district middle school but still want to hear about family raising there. Because I am beyond new to this, I would love to hear your thoughts. I’m not married to the idea of marmalade but bc I am a city girl at heart, it seems like perfect urban living.
