Sentinel so called prey tracker is useless

Been playing sentinel for around 50 levels this wipe and jeez is this motion tracker almost useless. It doesn’t give me any advantage because it pings people i can clearly hear and has terrible range. Recon is better at “hunting prey” at least she can track the people she hurts this motion tracker doesn’t help with that because guess what pray does IT HIDES WHEN ITS SCARED i chase them with the motion tracker them they stop moving and can be behind any corner. Iv used this ability maybe 120 times and got use of it maybe once
