Is Semrush One worth $199/month ?

I signed up for Semrush back in 2019 when I was new to SEO and honestly had no idea what I was doing. Seven years later, it is still the tool I open every single day. So when Semrush One launched in mid-2025, I upgraded to give it a try.

I was already curious about AI visibility tracking and the bundle made more sense than paying for both tools separately. So I upgraded.

AI visibility overview is one of the reports I use the most. Right now, I use it mainly to monitor the overall performance of my website, Behind Rankings, in LLMs and AI Mode. That is it.

In my opinion, tracking prompts does not make much sense because they are dynamic and change frequently.

And when it comes to the Brand Performance report, competitors are populated automatically based on who appears in LLM-generated answers associated with your brand. If a brand is not mentioned in those responses, it simply will not show up. This means you can't pick competitors on your own.

However, there is a reason users pay $199/month for the Semrush One Starter plan.

Buying the SEO Toolkit and AI Visibility Toolkit separately would cost $238.95/month. And many other all-in-one SEO platforms aren't really cheap. The bundle actually can save you money if you need a solid SEO + AI tool for daily work.

I personally don't think Semrush One is for everyone. If you are just starting out or still building organic traffic, Semrush Pro, or any other SEO tool, would be enough for now. But if AI search visibility is already on your radar, or your clients actively start asking questions about AI SEO performance, the bundle would make more sense.
