Question for moms who used Ciprofloxacin eye drop during pregnancy

My doctor prescribed it and it says if the benefit outweighs the risk. Of course this is freaking me out and there’s little research on it. He said it was fine because it’s topical but it does go into the back of my throat but I’ve managed to prevent it a couple times. Has anyone used Ciprofloxacin eye drops for an eye infection and had a safe healthy baby? No complications? I mean the infection obviously needed care and I’m on amoxicillin too but the eye drops just seem a little sketchy. Obviously I’m going to continue to take it but I just really hope nothing happens. I’m in my first trimester at 5 and a half weeks. My infection is getting so much better too so treatment is working quickly. Anyways hopefully someone can give me some positive news or personal experience with use during pregnancy I’d highly appreciate your story or knowledge.
