ADHD & A&P

hi guys! i’m doing my pre reqs right now, but to be honest. i’m having the hardest time retaining information. i have adhd, and although i do take medication and have strategies i use to give me a better chance, i feel like im just not retaining nearly enough information. it’s to the point where i want to take a gap year/semester to really study and focus in on the anatomy and physiology before even applying to the program.
im currently starting A&P II for the summer semester. does anyone one have any suggestions or tips?
i’m usually a kinetic and hands-on learner but it’s very hard to apply that to such a memory and definition/term heavy course.

(side note: due to finances i cannot attend in person for at least another year, i have to work full time. i do feel like that would help a lot but sadly i just can’t)
