Share a fanwork that a friend previously submitted — a storyline where Luni and Ruri toy with Doc and his team. I don't know whether to turn it into a comic.
When the Ruby Twins Deliberately Toyed with Them (with Addendum)
Doc's team ran into Luni's team at the entrance of the outpost.
Doc: "Who's the captain?"
Luni and Ruri pointed at each other at the same time: "Her." — Identical movements, identical expressions.
Army: "Are you messing with us?"
Luni and Ruri simultaneously: "No." — Then both smiled. Not a polite smile, but a "guess what" smile.
Doc: "... Seriously, who's the captain?"
Luni stepped forward: "Me." Ruri stepped half a step back: "Vice-captain." Doc was about to nod when Luni said, "Gotcha." and stepped back. Ruri stepped forward: "I'm the captain."
Navy covered her mouth, shoulders shaking: "So much fun~"
Eyeball crossed her arms: "Are you done or not?"
Luni and Ruri both turned to look at Eyeball, tilted their heads in unison: "Not done." — Same angle. Eyeball's mouth twitched.
Cora turned her head away, her face a little red. Tika raised her clipboard in front of her face; the body behind it trembled slightly. Marga finally leaned in and whispered to Tika: "What are they doing?" Tika didn't answer, so Marga just giggled twice — not understanding at all.
Navy approached and asked about the gem location: "Are you deliberately giving different answers?"
Luni: "Random." Ruri: "Deliberate." They gave opposite answers at the same time.
Navy blinked: "... Which one is true?"
Luni: "All." Ruri: "None." Then they tilted their heads — in opposite directions.
Doc took a deep breath: "Can you just talk normally?"
Luni and Ruri turned back simultaneously: "We can. But we don't want to." Then turned away again.
Cora finally let out a "pfft" and quickly covered her mouth.
Tika lowered her clipboard, showing only her eyes — they were full of laughter.
Marga finally got it: "Oh — they're messing with people!" Then she laughed the loudest: "Hahahaha — uh." She was cut off by a glare from Ruri, her voice stuck in her throat.

After entering the outpost, the two teams reached a fork in the path.
Luni said "left", Ruri said "right", each went their own way. Doc's team stood at the intersection, looking at each other.
Army: "What do we do now?!"
Eyeball: "... Follow left. That grumpy-faced one looks more like the captain."
Before Doc could respond, Luni poked her head out from the left passage: "Aren't you coming?" Ruri poked her head out from the right passage: "Then we'll come over." And both withdrew at the same time.
A few seconds later, Luni and Ruri walked out together from the left passage. Ruri in front, Luni behind.
Doc: "Didn't you split up?"
Luni: "Didn't split."
Ruri: "Just pretended."
Doc: "... Why?"
Luni looked at Doc, expressionless: "Because you're too easy to fool, sweetheart."
Ruri said at the same time: "Because we were bored."
Doc's face darkened. Army clenched her fist and stepped forward: "You—!" Eyeball grabbed her arm: "Calm down. You can't beat them." Leggy poked her head out from behind Doc, eyes wide, whispering: "... They're so cool."
Cora laughed out loud. Tika buried her face in her clipboard. Marga started laughing again: "Hahaha — uh." This time she covered her own mouth before Ruri could even glare.

After the mission, the two teams parted at the exit.
Navy waved with a smile: "Let's play together again next time!"
When they had walked far away, Tika closed her clipboard: "... They really are too easy to fool."
Cora laughed. Marga scratched her head: "What are you laughing about anyway?"
Luni walked ahead, not looking back.
Ruri saw the corner of her mouth twitch — very slightly.
Ruri also smiled.

Addendum: Why the Ruby Squad Has a Vice-Captain?
In the standard Ruby squad structure on Homeworld, there was originally no "vice-captain" position — a Ruby squad only needed one captain, and everyone else were members. But Luni's squad was different.
Because Luni and Ruri were the "Ruby Twins." They had trained and gone on missions together since their creation, achieving a level of synchronicity that didn't require words to coordinate. Having only Luni in command wasn't impossible, but it wasted Ruri's abilities. When Luni made a decision, Ruri was already simultaneously verifying its feasibility; when Luni gave an order, Ruri was already filling in the details. It wasn't that Luni wasn't strong enough — it was that together they were faster, steadier, and made fewer mistakes.
So this squad established a vice-captain — not to divide authority, but to allow both twins to play their roles. Captain Luni was responsible for "deciding what to do," and Vice-Captain Ruri was responsible for "confirming how to do it." On the battlefield, when Luni charged ahead, Ruri watched the formation from behind; when Luni didn't speak, Ruri spoke for her. The two were like the two blades of a pair of scissors — only together were they complete.
The other squad members had also grown accustomed to this dual-command model. If you had a problem, go to Luni; if Luni ignored you, go to Ruri — she would give you an answer with three more words than Luni would. When other squads saw they had two leaders, they often paused — how could a Ruby squad have two people in charge? The answer was simple: because they were twins. Not "two captains," but one captain and the person who covered for her.
