Pixel 6 screen is blank after a fall - any way to recover files?
My bluetooth earbuds are still connected, I have haptic feedback, and my phone still vibrates and lights up from notifications, so I assume it’s not a total goner.
I have some fairly important files on my phone‘s local storage I haven’t backed up on my laptop that I really hope I can recover. However, my phone always requires permission to access files when I hook it up to my laptop. And since I can‘t see my screen at all, I am not able to do this.
I have already started my repair online and will go to the recommended location tomorrow to get it sorted out, but I am very worried about losing access to those files. I had also planned on getting a new phone soon anyway, and would rather not spend the additional money getting this one fixed if I don’t have to.
Is there any way for me to grant file-transfer permission on my phone without any access to the screen? Or any other options available to me at all? My main concern is the recovery of my files.
