JUST A GIRL !

So recently I joined a company where I'm the only girl on the team. I've noticed that most of the guys don't really seem interested in talking to me or including me, which honestly feels a bit sad. I've been making an effort to get along with them, but sometimes it feels like they find excuses to leave or go elsewhere when I'm around.

Yesterday, I joined them for dinner, hoping to bond with the team. But being the only girl there was pretty uncomfortable. I heard them making weird jokes about another female colleague, and they even joked that I might complain to HR. I was honestly thinking, "What the hell?" I've only been here for a month and haven't done anything to give that impression.

The whole interaction gave me a strange vibe. I can't tell if I'm overthinking it, but it genuinely feels like they're treating me differently. What bothered me the most was hearing the way they spoke about that other girl, because it made me wonder if they talk about me the same way when I'm not around.

Now I'm not sure what to do. Should I keep trying to hang out with them and build a rapport, or should I maintain some distance? The whole situation just feels really weird and uncomfortable.
