Wife wants me to wake her up for sex.

A long time ago ( 3-4 years ago) I went thru a phase where in the middle of the night I would wake up and have the uncontrollable urge and desire to sexy time my wife while she was asleep. She obliged many times and sometimes denied me saying she was sleepy so I would stop. This happened about about a dozen times. One day she said she hated that I did that and felt used. I apologized and stopped immediately and has never happened again.

Fast forward to one month ago she brought up that she misses being woken up in the middle of the night for sex. I asked if this is something she wanted. She said yes. But a part of me still remember how upset she was the time she told me she hated it.

This week she was waking up and I remembered again how she mentioned this so I asked her if she would like for me to wake her up this week. She said yes.

I asked her again today if she’s sure and what does she like about that. She said she is sure and she says she doesn’t know she just likes that it’s random.

I’m going to attempt to do this again. I find it very hot that she’s telling me all of this because she’s normally introverted but I’m hoping you guys could navigate this with me and help me understand the change of heart?
