Classes for second year

I’m a second year student majoring in biology. I recently met with an academic advisor and she helped me plan some classes (including academic writing, human anat + phys and intro to chemistry) but I want other’s advice on what I should take!
Im thinking about taking an indigenous course, any suggestions on which one and which prof is best? As well as I’m considering taking genetics, has that class been particularly hard for anyone?
What classes would you recommend to boost my gpa?
I would love to hear any and all opinions, advice and comments!
