Name change

My first name is Haig (Hye-G). One syllable, 98% of people mispronounce it when they read it, or mishear it when I say. I hate it the most when people think im saying "Im High". Its been a lifelong struggle for me. Its an Armenian name. The Armenian community in America is very small already and I was not raised ethnic at all. My last name is English so Im thinking about changing it to Arthur, after King Arthur. I take umbrige in my english and irish ancestry more than my armenian. Looking for some wisdom from some people who have abandoned their ethnic idenity by changing their legal name.
