[tomt][song] lyrics something something “memories taste just like cinnamon…or liquorice?”

This song got shuffled to me a few weeks ago and I swore I’d remember it but of course I didn’t. It might have been a ballad/folky acoustic song, and there was both a male and female vocalist singing at the same time. Though I’m not sure that they were singing together for the entirety of the song.

There was a line that went something like “…memories taste just like liquorice/cinnamon” at least I THINK it was one of those. Maybe somewhere else in the song there was the lyric “soul for a rest? Soul needs a rest?”

Of course now my memory is playing tricks on me.

Appreciate any guesses!

UPDATE: The more I think about it, the more I’m doubting whether LIQUORICE was the actual word in the song. It was definitely 3 syllables and rhymed with liquorice, but it may not have been that. Now I’m also sure that it’s not cinnamon either. Unfortunately I’m googling words that rhyme with liquorice and having no luck.
The line in the chorus is something like “all my memories taste just like ____” and both the male and female vocalists sing it together.
