How do you solve ADHD paralysis?
Hey there fellow ADHDers. I am someone who was recently diagnosed at the age 32 (I'll be 33 this month). However, I suspected it for log before that and had noticeable symptoms since middle school.
I have found that I often get stuck and overwhelmed when I have a lot tasks to do or if I don't know where to start. It happened today at work actually lol. I swear I stared at the screen for like an hour straight trying to figure out where to start.
Anyway, with me having an official diagnosis and connecting with other ADHDers, I started thinking about how I can solve this problem, like basically automate the executive function part of tasks (organizing, prioritizing, breaking the tasks down), since it's a problem that I know that I deal with. And I am working on a solution for it, but I am wondering if it would truly be useful.
So I wanted to know if others with ADHD deal with this problem on a sever level like I do, as it is a problem I am interested in solving. And if you are able to overcome it, what do you currently do?
P.S. This is not a promo. Please do not ask for information about my solution in the comments (I won't respond). I only care to understand this problem more from others who struggle with it like me.
