[Routine Help] Anyone focusing more on prevention than correction in their mid-20s? Post

Routine Help

Hi everyone, I'm 26F with combination skin, and I've been re-evaluating my skincare routine recently. Most of my skincare journey in my early 20s was focused on correcting issues like occasional acne, post-acne marks, and uneven texture. Thankfully, my skin is in a much better place now and I don't have any major concerns at the moment. Because of that, I've started wondering whether my skincare goals should be changing as well. Instead of focusing on treating specific problems, I'm becoming more interested in prevention and maintaining healthy skin long-term.

For those of you in your mid-to-late 20s:

  • Did your skincare goals change around this age?
  • Have you started incorporating products that focus more on skin resilience or healthy aging?
  • Did you simplify your routine or add more preventative products?

My current routine is fairly simple:

AM

  • Gentle cleanser
  • Moisturizer
  • SPF 50

PM

  • Gentle cleanser
  • Moisturizer
  • Tretinoin (2–3x per week)

I'd love to hear how your routines evolved as your skincare priorities changed. Thank you!
