How good is Basti from an endgame perspective?

So, I just picked up the game the other day on a whim. I played the original about five or six years ago I think it was, but I didn't have more than a passing interest in this one since I remembered basically nothing about the original, (other than that I used G41 as my main girl, so the fact she's coming here is some great timing), and haven't traditionally liked XCOM style games.

I ended up grabbing Basti off her banner because she's my type, and I have to say from a new player perspective, she feels incredibly strong. I definitely get that I'm still doing easy low level content, but so far most of the time she can solo or nearly solo stages turn one outside of boss fights, and even those she does a significant amount of damage.

This got me to wondering how well she scales up to endgame content, if she feels this much stronger than all my other units at this point. I mean, I'll be using her regardless, just because I like her, but her kit feels very powerful between heals, movement, buffs, and damage. Anyone who's used her at higher level want to share their thoughts, as well as potentially other characters to aim for to synergize with her?

Right now my team is Basti, Tololo, Sabrina, and Mosin-nagant. I haven't even really gotten to use Mosin-nagant yet, since I got her after Basti. I do like having a sniper in the team just for range though.
