*Spider-Man sits on the girders, all these spider people have been making Miles think about himself. Not out of jealousy, they’re all really cool people and he’s glad to have them around at all but… anytime he’s around them, he gets these flashes of vague memories*.

*Memories of a broken figure being cradled and mourned by his friends and family, a man in an eyepatch and a woman handing him the same costume he wears today, the charred remains of his uncle, and… him holding his own bloodied mother.*

*At first, these just started off as nightmares and such, Miles didn’t give them the time of day when they creeped into regular talks. After the second and third recollection, it really started to make Miles question his own perception of reality. He doesn’t remember any of that stuff yet he still feels a response to certain things like his disdain to Venom or just looking at his mother.*

*So it begs the question, what if… all that stuff didn’t happen in this New York, in this Manhattan?*

*If not here then…*

***where?***

***…***

*Miles sits for a few more moments before getting shaking himself out of it. He isn’t going to let this go but he needed to be home for dinner and besides, web-swinging is always a great way to clear your head. So Spider-Man jumps out of the girders and swings towards a train to Brooklyn, only time will tell if Miles finds the answers he’s looking for.*

Just a lost stranger…
