PCOS girlies - got my period back after 4 months on Reta

My periods are always extremely irregular. Since I started working on my health a couple years ago I noticed I could start a period by either fasting, or going keto. So that’s how I would try to stay “regular” although I didn’t commit to the diet monthly. Maybe thrice a year.

Anyways, I haven’t had a cycle since October, and started Reta mid Feb. Since I knew my period was linked to insulin sensitivity I was curious when that change would take place.

For me, it was yesterday. I felt the familiar trickle of my period and now the flood gates have opened. This one is a doozy, very heavy bleeding, but funny enough not many cramps, more lumbar pain.

So if anyone is wondering how “long it takes” to get your period back, here’s one for the data set.
