Denial in STI

so yall,
I recently had sex with a guy (who is the only person I’ve had sex with all year, yet, it has been 6 months since we had sex), and when I went to get tested, I acquired an sti: Trichomoniasis.
I thought I was doing the right thing when I notified said partner but it turned out to be the worst decision ever. He denied having it, said he went to get tested, said whatever i have I didn’t get from him, but my doctor was sure to tell him and sure I got it from him. He verbally abused me and said he didn’t have it.
So like he must have it right? Hes lying right? All signs point to him and I just wanted to make sure no other women acquired it. I haven’t had other partners this year. The reason we stopped talking was because he said he was already seeing someone else after saying he wasnt and we had literally had sex one week prior to him saying that.
A mf like that wouldn’t come clean about something like that right? Im just baffled at the fact he said he doesn’t have ANYTHING at all. So, how did I get it then? ISNT he obviously lying? Because if tables were turned, regardless, Hed still have SOMETHING??!!!!?? Also, wouldn’t send me his results after talking mess to me. If he was so cocky and sure, why not share your results? im spiraling…
