Invisalign has made braces like buying a car- can’t stand it

Between the endless competition from the saturated market of having five dentists in the same general area that can do Invisalign to the sales funnel where they start emailing you endlessly about how great it’s going to be. I’m just pissed off with the whole process.

I’m familiar with the dental industry especially Invisalign but geez I just felt like yelling into the void. It’s clear they have trained dental practices on sales techniques which are similar to buying a car. Get em in the door and get em to sign fast. Not all of them are like this, but I am dealing with one now who considers the consultation appointment to be the start of treatment (aka the end of that appointment will be the signing on the dotted line). What a turn off.

I also have an appointment with another practice that uses 3m before I see this Invisalign provider so let’s see how I like the doc outside of the sales experience.

One thing is for sure, price is negotiable
