Hi! So I just finished floral unfurl yesterday and on a story progression doc, it’s recommended to do Shalom’s interrogation next. I don’t have Shalom but I did find a playthrough on youtube.

So for as far as I’ve played, Chief is still in a coma but when I clicked Shalom’s video, it looked Chief was talking to someone so I closed the video. Im not sure if that’s like the past or present but I didn’t wanna spoil for myself.

Am I really supposed to playthrough Shalom’s story or should I just start with Chapter 13?

Now for some story parts that I’m confused about or like stuff that just flew over my head🙂‍↕️

Where is Chief during the first 2 ENs that are shown above? I’ve already completed Dreya and Mantis’ EN and I just thought that the Chief was in a coma and that she was in MBCC’s private hospital or something. The nurses there seemed to be affiliated with the bureau and Nightingale seemed to know that Chief had some effect on the problem subsiding. It didn’t seem like she thought that chief is missing. But everyone in Floral unfurl said that chief is missing? Even Sumire and Garofano don’t know where chief is

Coming to Sumire and Garofano, I had no idea that the reason they were doing all this was for chief🙂‍↕️ During rain burst when Sumire was talking about losing someone and all that, a small part of me was like oh is she talking about Chief but then I thought that she hadn’t met chief yet so she couldn’t possibly be talking about her. I just thought that maybe she’s talking abt Cocoquelic and that this was just a mission Sumire and Garofano were on. I don’t know why I was thinking that they hadnt met Chief yet when apparently they are part of the sinners who actually escaped after Chief fell into coma. This broke my heart even more, just seeing how much they suffered all to seek vengeance for chief, it was too heartbreaking. I thought Chief would only meet them for the first time after these events but they were already family🥹

I think I realised that Shalom was X very randomly, I completely forgot about X and while I was doing the event, it hit me lmao

For Jichuan‘s event,

I adoreeeeeee Jichuan(Shuang’er) and also Xiaofeng! Ayiguo was also very fascinating, I’m excited to do her interrogation lmao. That said the story ending fight confused me. Maybe it’s coz the terms translated couldn’t convey what the original was talking about but I was wondering like couldn’t Jichuan just have made those 3 fight for the scroll earlier instead of prolonging her suffering for so long? It just felt like that final part went on and on and one when it could’ve been simpler? Tbh I just hated seeing Jichuan bleed out and break even more but yea. And also why did the weather clear up after Jichuan defeated that monster? was the climate caused by Jichuan or like what was happening really? Also I get that Chief was going around spreading hero Jichuan’s story (is that what she was doing?) but could that story spread so fast in the span of the fight that was happening up there? Idk if I got exhausted but that whole part was lowkey confusing me. Still really liked the event tho, it was pretty isolated, like the only friends we had were the playable trio and all others were enemies but it was still fascinating in some ways.

Sorry the long post, thank you for reading it!
