Thinking about getting into reselling to save for a car
I’ve recently been interested in getting into reselling since I’m trying to save up for a car, and my part-time job isn’t really cutting it. My goal would be to make an extra $500–$1,000 a month if possible, though I’m not sure how realistic that is.
I’m not too familiar with reselling or how it all works. From what I’ve seen, there seem to be at least two different approaches. One is just buying and reselling items you find opportunities in, doing the research, buying them, and then selling them for a profit, which I guess is what I’d consider the traditional way.
The other approach I’ve seen is buying products from China and reselling them locally for a profit. I’m not sure which option is better or more convenient.
I’d love to hear what you guys think. Is reselling a realistic way to make an extra $500–$1,000 a month, and which approach would you recommend for someone just getting started?
