How to improve on Baptiste?

Hey guys, so I’m not a new OW player, been playing for almost a year now and made it to plat 1- dia 5 on my main role which is tank and just now decided to dip my toes into support.

I really like Baptiste because he’s very cooldown heavy which I gravitate towards in a hero but I actually suck. So much so that I’m stuck at silver 2….

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
