How necessary is knowing high level math to CS?

I'm about to fail calculus 1 for the second time. It's making me doubt my abilities and future in this field. Given how many math courses I have to take to graduate, I'd imagine I have to know it quite well, but I just want to hear what others have to say to know if I should consider a change in careers
