I NEED HELP !?

TLDR: I want to start singing lessons, but I’m not looking to have a professional singing career, just for fun and for my own projects; any recommendations?

hi everyone!

I am 24 years old f and I have been living in Los Angeles since August 2024. It’s been a bumpy ride lol. However, I’ve moved out of the valley thank God and I’m in a new place that I love and I’m feeling a lot less depressed than I have been since I moved out here. Not much of that has anything to do with what I need assistance on. I want to spend my time in this new place reconnecting with myself and doing things that I loved as a child and one of those things is singing. I am not a professional singer at all, but I know I can keep a tone and I feel that I can sing pretty good with no training, maybe that’s just my ego talking. I want to take singing lessons however I know what type of city I live in so I don’t wanna take a singing class and waste the teachers time but it’s something that I’ve always enjoyed to this day and if I can do something to perfect it so I can do my own things I would love that. Does anyone have a recommendation or can provide tips on what types of classes I should look for? Anything helps, and hope you all are taking care of yourselves :)
