Is link building still actually a thing? I have websites that get to the top of Google, that don't have many links which I find odd. Seems like "Content is King" has taken over.

I remember back in the day spending hours a day building links.

Now, I have a website, make some blog posts, those blog posts are first page of Google in just days. I outrank major websites for major keywords.

All I'm doing is just adding content, unique content.

Anyway I just stumbled across this Subreddit.

I'm still looking to build links as that's how I was trained to think -- and I am sure it's needed in super heavy competitive keywords.

But that said, it seems like content is king afterall.
