Non-fiction children's science book about various topics from night-day cycles, weather etc.
I had this book as a child in the 2000s, so I think it's from the 90s-00s. The two characters in it were 3d cartoon depictions of a boy and a girl. The boy was black with short curly hair, and the girl was white with blonde hair, either long and curly or straight with pigtails. Interspersed throughout the book was also photos from real life, of real people such as a little girl eating a popsicle (in the weather related section of the book), and of real buildings, places and phenomenons. Sometimes there were also 3d cartoon depictions of animals, such as a bear hibernating and a woodpecker.
Some of the topics I remember were night-day cycles, (with the picture for that one being of an apartment building at night with the lights on in the house), light sources and shadows, the equator, rain forests, and weather from different places in the world.
It was hardcover and it was a pretty flat book, i think about 60 pages long? But yeah, I think thats the best description I could give.
I appreciate any help!
