Fed up with messy dry boxes and toxic ABS fumes. We are engineering an all-in-one vertical base station. Roast our concept. (Pic is just an abstract icon)

(Just a heads up: The image attached is just a placeholder icon. Since the actual mechanical design is unpatented, we are keeping the CAD off public boards for now.)

We are a few hardware guys who got tired of wet filament ruining prints, desks cluttered with random dry boxes, and those useless stock carbon filters doing nothing for ABS/ASA emissions.

Instead of buying more scattered upgrades, we are building a vertical cabinet to solve it all at once. Here is the exact mechanical breakdown of what we crammed into the V1 prototype:

  • Bottom 20-Spool Dry Box: A massive sealed chamber at the base that acts as an active dehumidifier, holding up to 20 spools of filament.
  • Heavy-Duty Internal Filtration: A massive built-in filtration module designed to handle VOCs/UFPs from engineering materials. We are relying on oversized filter media to heavily outperform those tiny stock carbon boxes.
  • Dampening Platform: The printer sits on a top platform with acoustic treatment to kill desk wobble and CoreXY low-frequency resonance.
  • Organization: Dedicated space for the AMS, tool storage, and a built-in poop bin.

Roast this feature list. What are we over-engineering? What is completely useless?

If you actually deal with these issues daily and want to tear apart the actual CAD and renders, drop a comment or shoot me a DM. I'll share the design with you privately to get some brutal feedback.
