What to expect for Crusoe Cloud / Crusoe Energy Cloud Support Engineer interview?
Hey everyone,
I’m preparing for the Cloud Support Engineer interview at Crusoe (the company purpose-building high-density data centers and cloud infrastructure for massive AI workloads).
Since Crusoe focuses heavily on bare-metal GPU clusters, advanced Infiniband/RDMA networking, and custom liquid-cooling setups rather than just standard application-level hosting, I assume their support engineering loop is highly specialized.
For anyone who has interviewed there or works in similar AI-cloud/HPC infrastructure roles:
- What kind of technical troubleshooting questions are typically asked?
- What do they prioritize more during evaluation (e.g., standard Linux/Networking admin vs. deep hardware, Slurm, GPU orchestration, or Infiniband triage)?
- What makes their support engineering culture different from legacy cloud hyperscalers?
Appreciate any insights or tips you can share!
