Calgary, Canada - Heavy 6/8 to fill strategy
Hey all,
I play sporadically in Canada at $5 table. On and off for 15 years. Usually at Grey Eagle or Deerfoot casino. All for entertainment value but have started to like this structured approach for some fun.
Starting bank roll around 240-260. Plan for minimum 3 rolls around 75ish investment per roll. $5 on pass line the max odds (usually $15 behind. This could maybe be 10 pass /20 odds). Hopefully get the puck on a 4 or 10. If so, place 6 and 8 for three units each ASAP. Once either hits, place two units on 5 and 9. Press one unit and collect for maybe 2 or 3 more hits. After this and another hit, parlay one of those numbers THEN if still no OUT likely buy the 4 or 10 (whichever is not puck). Then collect straight up for 5-6 rolls if still running hot. Hit the point and repeat.
Its usually hit or miss. You can have 3 junk rolls and leave in 20 min but it feels pretty controlled risk and nice getting coverage with the decent probability of hitting a 6 or 8. You know you have 3 chances to get something going.
Anyways just thought I'd share - open to comments or tweaks. Give it a go
