Is it shamed upon calling the cops??

If repeat theft attempt is happening are we shamed by other employees for calling the cops? When I was sfl (3 years ago) i would call the cops if i needed someone out of the store mainly homeless people or crackheads stealing make up. Random: I never got asked to testify which i just thought rn so do these ppl even get charged?? Anyways my point is I’ve never seen any of the other employees calling the cops so like is this not encouraged?
