But here's the thing - who is marrying who in this situation? It doesn't say in the game, it's very vague.

I got rid of my heir because he was a useless 0.0.0 drongo - and I was advised to. (Or if at war, send him to fight and hope he gets his head lobbed (lopped?) off). So that leaves me with a king who I don't think is married? I clicked on a bunch of other countries and wives don't seem to mentioned at all?

I have a Queen-Consort in case my king drops dead.

So, who is Portugal wanting to marry? The butler? Gardner? The king? And who would he be marrying? Looking at Portugal's info (the Diplomacy tab in the main info screen), it doesn't give anything away. It is ruled by a consort for a couple more years until the heir is 15 (he is 13 now). I'm assuming gay marriages aren't a thing yet? 😊

Or, is it not relevant? Will it just be some posh bird from Portugal, and some posh bloke from Castile? That seems a bit vague and tenuous..!!
