Question regarding Math 31

I just finished math 31 with a 96 and my current social 30-2 grade is at 98, which I believe will fall at least 8 percent due to diplomas. I was wondering that if my Math 31 grade is better, will the universities use that for calculating final averages or stick to social studies 30-2 marks. Thank you.
