i was born in the wrong century
this isn’t a “ouhhh wrong generation i wish i was born in the early 90s or 2000s older brother core🥺” post no bro i needed to be born in the 4th century.
i fucking hate this generation and what we have evolved into we are so civilized to a point where we are spineless and herd-mentality-ized. there’s no honor or way to properly physically prove yourself within daily life nowadays and it genuinely depresses me. the physical power, earned status, and mentality of people is completely drowned out by our mundane, electronic-fucked every day lives. you know who prioritized those traits and lived a real, meaningful life everyday?
the spartan hegemony. i look up to the spartan mentality and the way they lived their lives and think of that time period so highly that it’s justtttt barely reverence. the roman empire is a close second. trained from birth, brought into the world with a goal: strengthen your empire and prove yourself as a worthy soldier. seems genuinely heavenly to me. i am someone who can only properly thrive in a physically demanding, hands on environment. when i work, its always either loading/chopping wood or landscaping. i yearn for the sword bro 💔 im just gonna join the army at 17.
the masculine urge to march into war carrying the flag of your homeland, or wtv they say. what time period do you think you’d thrive in?
