Thoughts on Bike couriers?

I’ve been having some “bike” couriers as of late which I have no problem with. I don’t live in a city like New York where it’s the norm. So upon ordering I track my order and see that it takes them a while to get there and deliver it. My ETA time keeps being pushed back and my overall delivery time is set default a bit longer due to the transportation method.

Every single time though it’s not via a bike but by care and I see it on my ring camera. Again I don’t mind that route and times are tough, but this causes my order to take a lot longer and I’m trying to put 2 and 2 together and I’m assuming it was an issue with driving eligibility?

I don’t snitch on people and I don’t care about the driving history or anything as long as the delivery is smooth. But since my orders being delayed longer intentionally I don’t think this is fair. I pre tip a decent amount and tip extra for timeliness or courtesy or if they follow instructions on top of that as well.

What would usually be a 10-15 minute delivery ends up taking an hour. I live a busy life and things get hectic but I pay and I tip honestly and fairly. So this has been happening moreso as of late and idk honestly how to avoid this cause i know times are tough but it’s affecting my actual orders now.
