Im trying to find life satisfaction by chasing nostalgic emotions
Im a 33yr old male and for as long as I can remember Ive always felt like theirs something wrong with me. I was heavily reliant on alcohol from 18-30 but Ive been sober for over a year. Since that point I have had a lot of new thoughts and emotions come up, and I often find myself reflecting on simpler times as a kid. Ive been trying to evaluate what was so great about my day to day life as a kid in the 90s and how can I recreate that life now to make the most of it.
One major conclusion I have come to is spending my days actually doing things and reverting to screen time being a "special occasion" or something used intentionally. Increasing my physical activity and time spent outside is something that was also so key in my day to day life and now extremely reduced.
I just want to enjoy life again.
