Can you recommend a book where the MMC gets physical revenge on whoever wronged the FMC?

If there's a thread for this micro-ask, please let me know. I tried my best to search for 'revenge' and there's a bunch with the closest being this thread and this one but what I'm after is a bit specific

Basically, I'd like a book where the MMC is already friends/acquaintences/dating the FMC and he finds out someone hurt her (Doesn't have to be physically hurting though, you get the gist) and he's absolutely mad and he gets back at them by physically beating their ass. I don't mind if its part of a grander revenge scheme but what I don't like is them only getting legal consequences or he just fires them or whatever, I need the retribution to at least be partially a good beat down of whatever sort.

I want the MMC to be the one who does this though I don't mind if the FMC gets a few licks in of her own at some point. And I don't mind if the hurt happened before they were together, like if it was an abusive family situation or whatever.

[Bonus if the chapter is written from MMC's point of view so we can get first hand insight into how scared or angry he is at what went down]
