Tips for writing comic

Hello.

I have been working on a comic since I was 9 and well, thats 18 years of work. Mostly working on basic simple ideas for the plot, working on my skills as an artist to draw the world to life, and not as much time working on my writing.
A sacrifice had to be made.

I was wondering if anyone would have any advice of literature or just advice to help me gather research to write the story better!

I originally wanted to hire a writer. I was 9ish, I had just read Eragon and deemed that I can’t write like Chrisopher Paolini. BUT i got an internship, a chance to make the comic, and my boss is encouraging me to write the story myself.
