Seeking advice

Where I live asking for a deposit is out of the question. Unfortunately, people get scammed like that where I live. As far as screening goes, nobody here will send anything that gives their identity away. I get a lot of time wasters and I need help being able to weed out the fantasy bookers. Even when they come for an in call without deposit they seemingly like what they see until I ask for the donation and they act like they forgot their wallet. It’s so frustrating. Any pointers on what I can do better or how I can make sure I’m not wasting my time?
