Planarcadia story is underwhelming

I’m not sure if this is just me, but I feel like Planarcadia has been so underwhelming compared to Amphoreus. I’ve liked the planet so far and just finished 4.3 but I really feel like everything is just fine. It’s a pretty solid gacha game story like usual (might be weaker than Penacony too) but Amphoreus was in a league of its own. I really feel like Amphoreus was a top 3 video game story of all time period and it moved me emotionally hard every single update. I think the journey and every character arc was absolutely perfect and it’s something I frequently think about almost every day still. Meanwhile Planarcadia is pretty fun but it hasn’t had me emotional once and I feel like all of the twists and reveals don’t hit the same at all. I don’t think about it when I’m not playing and I don’t have the same urge to finish the updates as soon as they come out anymore. I know we’re still early in 4.X but I think 3.2 and 3.3 especially were already leagues above anything in 4.X story wise and it’s disappointing to feel like this. Does anyone else agree or think the story could teach Amphoreus levels again in the future?
