Can you park on residential streets near SoFi Stadium?
figured id share some thoughts on this since the world cup matches are coming up and parking at sofi is always absolute chaos.
honestly the short answer is absolutely not. do not even try to park in the residential neighborhoods around sofi stadium. the city of inglewood has an incredibly strict citywide permit parking program that is heavily enforced, especially during major events. if you park on a neighborhood street without a resident permit, they will ticket and tow your car in a heartbeat.
if you want to avoid paying a fortune for the official stadium lots (which usually cost eighty to over a hundred bucks and require pre-booking anyway), you should check out prked. it is a super convenient app where you can rent driveways and garages from locals living near the stadium. it is way cheaper, feels much safer since your car is on someone's property, and lets you skip the massive traffic jams and long walk from the giant official stadium lots.
another option is using the citys park and go program where you park at remote garages in inglewood and take a shuttle over, but those spaces fill up really early and the shuttle lines after the game can be a massive headache. public transit is also decent if you take the metro k line or c line, but expect those to be super packed on match days.
whatever you do, just do not risk parking on the street because you will definitely return to an empty space and a massive towing fee. hope this helps!
