Bedtime takes in excess of 1hr regardless of day's activities and toddler's tiredless
Daughter is 2 years and 4 months. No matter how busy the day is, no matter if nap or not, every night it takes upwards of an hour for her to finally fall asleep.
Our bedroom is literally a cot attached to the bed and a wardrobe. Nothing stimulating, no bright lights, books, toys etc. We have black out blinds so it's dark. On paper is it the perfect sleep environment. And yet 😌
Every night it takes her an hour to go sleep, regardless of whether it's a 7pm, 10pm or 2am bedtime (obviously hyperbole here). She could be bleary eyed and stumbling up the stairs and it is still an hour saga befor she eventually sleeps.
Has anyone anyone experienced this and how did the cycle stop? I'm not interested in cry it out / controlled crying / sleep training suggestions.
