How do yall end things with clients?
Hi yall. I have a client who after several drop ins, I really don’t want to work with anymore. He has a really passive aggressive tone in his texts which normally I can deal with, but compounded with other things, I’ve had enough lol.
He has had people over to use his pool during a drop in without telling me, he’s had people come in to service things in the house without telling me, and just generally makes me feel unappreciated.
I also lowered my price for him out of a request to keep things low cost, then at the meet and greet I see he has an incredibly expensive house lol. Which I know doesn’t guarantee financial stability, but it makes me feel like I’m being screwed (my prices aren’t crazy expensive btw)
Anyways, I’m thinking of saying something like “hey —, I have been thinking about it and I’m not sure that I’m a good fit anymore to be your sitter. I wish you the best of luck and thanks for letting me care for your dogs!”
That sounds weird to me, but I can’t think of anything else lol. Just looking for advice on things to say. Appreciate the help 🫶🏻
