Suggestions on weapon stamp

So I was thinking to get some support characters next, but apparently the characters who are support in the game right now, I don't feel the fun in their gameplay except Szayelaporro. Well I haven't pulled them for this reason but people say the damage increase is a lot. So I want to ask, is the weapon stamp very necessary? Like for Tactic or DPS half of the character is in the weapon stamp so is it the same for support or I can just keep them doing work on their own. I know it makes difference but I still want to know if it's at least more skippable than tactic or dps.

I'm totally f2p and I have Aizen, nel, gin, white, soi fon, Bankai Ichigo. From standard I use only Yoruichi and Urahara. That's it. I'm gonna take Ulquiorra next.
