Savannah or San Diego for a solo traveler over 40?

I’d really like a warm, “fun” destination with a unique vibe that offers a lot for solo traveler over 49, such as food/drink tours and some nice 5* resorts (Hotel Coronado or the Perry Lane in Savannah). Something with more relaxed and friendly vibe. Ocean aside, what would you recommend if you’ve done both?

I have traveled all over the US (I’m not American) and my favourite city is by far Washington DC and Tucson, if that helps. I love great food and people! Don’t care about night life after 10pm or shows.
