Can a haram relationship become halal and bring barakah?

I wanted to ask something I’ve been thinking about as a Muslim.

If a relationship started in a way that is not halal, is it possible for it to become halal later on and still have barakah from Allah?

I’m not asking in a judgmental way

I’m trying to understand how repentance, intention, and marriage work in Islam when feelings are involved.

If a couple genuinely wants to correct their path, stop what is not allowed, and eventually do things properly through nikah, can that relationship still become blessed by Allah?
