Could Intermerkopum survive after Rizia democratizes and Romus is not leading the country anymore?
One of my biggest anxieties about the continued existence of a bloc like Intermerkopum is the fact that it's almost entirely held together on the diplomatic chops and charisma of one man, so naturally the question becomes what happens to the alliance after Romus either dies or isn't Activitely Rizia anymore?
I wish to tackle two questions with this post:
1:Could Intermerkopum survive as an economic and diplomatic(potentially also a military and energy)alliance Or will the cracks begin showing between the member nations once the man who got them together leaves?
2:If you do think that Intermerkopum could continue to exist and benefit it's members (especially Rizia) after Romus, then **HOW? ** W do you think would be the ideal path for Rizia to take to ensure this?
a:Status quo? Well Vina probably wouldn't be fond of smolak and azmal, and vice versa.
b:Moderate Reform? Would whichever leader takes place as Rizia's prime minister be willing and able to maintain the commitments of the alliance? And if so then which one?
c:Radical Reform? Would someone like Adarfo or Manus be diplomatidiplomatically shrewd enough to maintain this alliance and also keep it from becoming a vassal of the CSP despite their own left leaning bias?
d:Absolutism? Would this change the fact that Vina as a woman would still be looked down upon by Derdia and Wehlen? Also would this amount of authoritarianism not lead to incompetent despots taking power in the future?
