Installed the flow control kit/dimmer mod from Barista Gadgets and now water flow is slower at 100%?

Hey all,

Purchased a GCP E24 off marketplace a month or so ago, and it came preinstalled with the PID PRo from Barista Gadgets, but he hadn't installed the flow control kit. I got tired of the water waste for the pre-infusion hack on this machine, and decided to install the flow control kit. Now, install was super easy, and all went well, but I'm noticing now post install even with the dimmer/pentometer set to 100% the flow is less than it was without it. Is this normal behavior? Or do I need to go back in and look at my install?

The sound of the pump matches this behavior as even at 100% it's drastically quieter. As well I notice when turning on the machine, and doing an eye ball test it feels noticeably slower. I pulled a shot too with beans I did earlier and it also took more time to reach my desired output than before so I guess that would confirm it?
